Ref: R Metcalfe (England).

As poor as Wrexham were until the two changes made with about 20 minutes left, the referee and the linesman seriously need to ask themselves if that is the best they can do because if it is then they should do the honourable thing and retire because that was one of the worst refereeing displays I have ever seen. The problem is that week after week after week the ref`s are not getting any better and I make no excuse for the following statement I am going to say now `Wrexham are not given anything because the ref`s are bent as you can be and I imagine they phone each other up on the Saturday night and are proud to stick another nail in Wrexham`s coffin. These ref`s should be shot, yes that`s right shot because they are killing Wrexham Football Club. When is someone going to get hold of these ref`s are sort them out because they are a f-----g disgrace. Anyway more of them later

2-0 down with less than 20 mins gone and still not having a shot on target compared to Salisbury`s 6th shot and there was no way in a million years we were ever going to get back into this game because in 3 games and 20 minutes previously we had only managed one shot on target and with Little & Large up front then it was already game over. The first goal came from a set piece after a foul by Neil Taylor and the 2nd goal another mistake by Neil Taylor saw another cross find an unmarked Salisbury player in the middle of goal to make it 2-0 but he looked a mile offside but to the amazement of the crowd was allowed to stand.Marc Williams twice had the ball in the penalty area, the first time he just did what he does best and make a mess of it, the 2nd time his control from inside the penalty area seen the ball go 5 yards outside the box and then to top off a great first half, a great corner by Mark Jones (take note Spann) saw it flicked on at the near post and the ball zip across goal which Marc Williams should have buried but he missed the ball. Christian Smith who I thought had his best game in a Wrexham shirt was amazingly subbed at half time for Andrew Fleming. So we are 2-0 down and he takes off Smith and brings on a player who has never scored a goal for Wrexham. Fleming did nothing and not until the introduction of fans favourite (Cieslewicz 60) & (McCluskey 60) returning from injury did Wrexham look like threatening Salisbury`s goal at all. Suddenly it was all Wrexham and good work by Cieslewicz down the right wing saw him pass the ball to Obeng who put in a quality cross and Gareth Taylor should stooped low and glanced it into the back of the net and it was now game on. Wrexham could sense Salisbury there for the taking and McCluskey and Cieslewicz were on fire and Salisbury had no answer to them but the problem for Wrexham was that when the subs were made he left the two useless strikers Taylor and Williams on and it is obvious that they are the two weak links in the team as they are too slow and the ball constantly got through to their keeper before these uselsss strikers moved. The Salisbury keeper 4 times on the run actually carried the ball out of the area before releasing it out of his hands and drop kicking it much to the anger of the crowd. It was unbelieveable as the whole crowd in the Mold Road Stand told the linesman to watch the keeper and time after time the keeper went out of his area and the linesman not once raised his flag. It is at times like these that these referee`s and linesman should be reviewed and banned because as bad as Wrexham were, the linesmen and referee didn`t help one bit.

Marc Williams and Gareth Taylor were once again both useless and have no pace or skill between the both of them. The long high balls to Taylor do not work as he doesn`t win the balls.

Sakho who I felt didn`t have a good game but the crowd got on his back too early. For f---s sake you fans give the lad a chance but one bad touch and he is crap, for f---s sake he is a good player and he was put into a team who couldn`t pass form A to B until the two players came on as sub in the 60th minute. Saunders must start with McCluskey and Cieslewicz in the next game because i have said many a time that they are fast and teams don`t like playing against fast players.

I just hope that next match we get a decent referee because the standard is shocking but it is always against Wrexham and it is as if they have an agenda just against Wrexham. It`s so bloody frustrating when the team get themselves back into a game only for the ref to then give everything to the opposing team and it is not the first time this has happened at home and I doubt it will be the last.

Today`s ref and linesman should never ever ref another match again in their lives the f-----g useless tw-ts.

Wrexham v Salisbury Saturday 3rd October 2009

Two games, one point and only one shot on target for Wrexham in 180 minutes of football. Oh and I nearly forgot the most important stat and that was the red card for Sylvio Spann which I think is a blessing in disguise as he will miss a couple of matches. I think this Saturday could well be the turning point in Wrexham`s season as Saunders is now going to have to play either Cieweslickz, Sakho or Baynes who have all got pace and Saunders will see for himself just how poor that Spann is and I predict Spann won`t get back into the team, Sam Russell will return from injury very shortly and Saunders will have virtually a full team to choose from since becoming manager and we will go onto a winning streak which will see us climb the table and the crowds come flocking back to The Racecourse, even though we are the best supported home and away team in The Blue Square Premier League by a mile with gates on average around 3,500 apart from last Sunday`s gate v Chester where the gate was 5, 900 which is unheard of in non league football. At present we have got the slowest strike force in Taylor and Williams but if Saunders dropped them two and put in Cieweslickz and Sakho we would have the fastest strike force and teams would be scared of playing us as we would destroy them. Let`s wait and see Saturday`s team sheet and pray he has gone for pace in the side instead of the big tall man up front who I personally don`t rate.

Kidderminster Harriers - Wrexham - 2009-09-29 Match Report from ...

Another loss for Wrexham losing 2-0 away at Kidderminster. I just can`t believe how this bunch of players are not able to produce the goods as a lot of them were on the books of premiership teams not so long ago and they really should be producing the goods but the facts are showing us that they are not and unless they click within the next two matches then it`s quite possible we could be looking at a relegation fight which is simply unthinkable. What we desperately need is Sam Russell back in goal because Maxwell like I have said hundreds of times is quite simply not good enough and never will be. A goalkeeper should command his area and any crosses that are within the 6 yard box should be claimed by the keeper every time, but it`s very very rare that Maxwell will come and catch anything because 1/ his handling simply is not good enough and 2/ he is too small to be a goalkeeper and therefore will never be able to command his box and if you can`t do that then the defence don`t know whether they should let it go, head it away or wait and see if the keeper comes for it and it shows every time a cross comes over. The only good thing to come out of last nights game is that Sylvio Spann was red carded after 15 minutes and will miss two matches which is fantastic news as far as I am concerned because he is shit and shouldn`t even be in the starting eleven anyway.
But losing 2-0 to Kidderminster is shocking and that is now three times we have played Kidderminster since we were relegated into The Blue Square Premier and three times we have failed to beat them. What`s going on!
We have been starting with Marc Williams and Gareth Taylor up front and it just doesn`t work, they must be the slowest strike force in The Blue Square Premier when we could have the fastest strike force if Saunders were to play Adrian Cieslewicz and Lamine Sakho who would cause any team problems with their skill and pace.
Now is the time for Saunders to change this team around and he must make wholesale changes before Saturday`s match.
Wrexham Player Stats: -
Out go - Fleming - never scored a goal but has played 34 games. For a midfielder that is simply just not good enough.

Saunders is surely living on borrowed time now at Wrexham but who would we get to replace him and has as many contacts as Saunders. I don`t think that we could attract anyone with a bigger name and even though results are not great, let`s give Saunders a full season at least.

Kidderminster vs Wrexham (England, Blue Square Premier League Tuesday 29 September 2009

Football Conference Club - Kidderminster Harriers

PREVIEW: Howarth Ready for Wrexham

Neil Howarth is wary of a wiser Wrexham as Dean Saunders brings his side to Aggborough tonight for Blue Square Premier action (7:45pm).

The Dragons, who suffered a double defeat the hands of Harriers in their first Blue Square Premier season last term, are no-doubt a year wiser of their first experiences of non-league football in 2008-09.

That makes them all the more dangerous, according to assistant boss Howarth, who expects them to be climbing the table further in the near future.

Not however, he insists, at the expense of his Harriers side who are looking to bounce back from Saturday's 3-2 defeat at York City.

"This is a very tough game - wherever they go, Wrexham take a lot of support," Howarth told harriers.co.uk

"They have a few experienced players but a lot of younger talent as well.

"They've become acclimatised to this league now. They aren't doing as well as they would have liked to, I'm sure, but they have a Manager with top-end experience and I'm sure they'll be up the right end of the table sooner rather than later, but not at our expense."

Harriers will be without defender Gavin Caines tonight as he serves a one-match suspension for his sending off at the weekend.

Youngster Tom Sharpe could be the like-for-like replacement this evening, though Liam Dolman could also feature at full-back if Duane Courtney is moved to partnerMartin Riley in the middle.

Dean Bennett is once again available for selection whilst John Finnigan is likely to be fit enough to play some part. Striker Robbie Matthews will look to keep his place in the side after getting 90 minutes at York.

Howarth was speaking exclusively to your official website in the build-up to tonight's match.

In the full interview, Howarth discusses the games against Forest Green and York, young midfielder Nathan Hayward's promising debut first-team performances and much, much more.

Wrexham v Chester Pre Match Singing

Wrexham v Chester Pre Match Singing

Wrexham 0 Chester City 0 Sunday 27-09-2009

This has got to go down as the worst Wrexham v Chester match I have ever seen. Wrexham kept playing the same ball all game long and that`s knock it high up to the edge of the box for Taylor and it didn`t work but we never changed it once. Can someone please tell me why Spann takes all the corner kicks, free kicks etc because the quality of his crosses is beyond belief and by that I mean shocking. In fact can someone tell me why Spann is in the team because he is useless. It must have been the easiest match their keeper has played in because I can`t remember him having one shot to save. Marc Williams once again ran around like a headless chicken with no quality whatsoever with a touch like an elephant. Early on in the match he had a decent chance but what does he do, what he always does and makes a mess of it. If Saunders is happy with that performance then he must have watched a different match to the one I seen because we were lucky to get a draw. He should have brought on the sub earlier and he should have made more than the one sub because we didn`t look like scoring at all and why he didn`t bring on Cieslewicz only Saunders will know the answer to that. If we want promotion then we need to be winning our home games regardless of who we are playing and let`s face it, that was the worst atmosphere for a Wrexham v Chester match I can remember.

Dean Saunders Transfers

Dean Saunders Transfers since becoming Wrexham manager in October 2008

Monday 8th Jun 2009

Kyle Is Latest To Leave

DEFENDER Kyle Critchell has agreed a deal which will see him leave the club with immediate effect, despite having a season left on his current contract, the necessary paperwork will be completed shortly.

The 22-year-old Wales U21 international had progressed through the youth and reserve teams at Southampton and also enjoyed a loan spell with Torquay United.

He left for Chesterfield in 2007 and was released by them after half a season, when he moved to Weymouth, his hometown club.

A move to Wrexham followed last summer, but he was suspended for the first three games of the season (following a red card in his final match with Weymouth) and then picked up an injury in training at the end of August.

After recovering from this ankle problem four months later, he said he was looking to be loaned out to help improve his first team chances at Wrexham. Joining fellow Conference side York City on a month's loan in early January 2009.

He was due to make his debut a day later against former club Weymouth, but the match was postponed due to the bad weather, before eventually made his first appearance after playing in the 2-1 victory over Oxford United ten days later.

His loan was extended for a second month on 4 February and finished with him making 11 appearances for the Minstermen.

Coming back to Wrexham in early March, Kyle then rejoined his local side Weymouth on loan until the end of the season. Playing eight times while with Weymouth, one bright spot as the Terras were relegated to the Conference South.

In total, Kyle only played two games for the Dragons, both last August.

He leaves with our best wishes and we hope he will soon be settled with a new club.

Tuesday 4th June 2009

Nat Brown has revealed he wants to leave the club so he can get first team football and not just sit and languish in the reserves. Personally I don`t think Matt has had much of a look in at Wrexham and maybe if he had had a decent look in then he would have made the centre back position his own as every time I saw him play, he always played quite a decent game so not sure if I am glad he is leaving or gutted. It`s one of them.

Tuesday 4th June 2009

Mark has signed a 12 month contract with a clause in it, which states that if after 4 months he has not done enough then Wrexham can tear up his contract and send Mark on his way.

Tuesday 19th May 2009

Levi Macken & Shaun Walley have both been released by Wrexham manager Dean Saunders. Both of them spent most of last season on loan at York City and Southport respectively but have been told they are no longer required at Wrexham. I am glad to see them both go as I thought both of them were uselesss footballers and have been very fortunate to be given a chance to play football for a living. If I was them I suggest they start looking for a proper job because they never going to make a decent living out of football as they are not good enough.

14th May 2009

Nathan Fairhurst joins Wrexham full time.

MIDFIELD player Nathan Fairhurst believes he has made the right choice by joining Wrexham, rather than staying with Championship club Preston North End.

The 19-year-old says the opportunity to play regular first team football with the Dragons is a better option rather than sit on the bench or play reserve team football at Preston where he was offered a new contract. I wish Nathan all the best and am sure that if he has a successful season then there will be a host of clubs trying to get his signature as he is too good to be playing non league football for more than a season.

Tuesday 5th May 2009

Jefferson Louis has left Wrexham by mutual consent with a year still left on his contract. The laziest footballer I have ever had the misfortune to watch play for Wrexham

Wednesday 29th April 2009

Gavin Ward - Keeper near the end of his career who served us well for 2 years.

Christian Gyan - The only match I seen him play, he was subbed at half time as he was shocking.

Anthony Williams - People claim he kept Wrexham in the league the season they beat Boston on the last day but he played about 12 games after coming in on loan and he was very lucky as all the shots in those 12 games came at a decent height and mae him look a better keeper than he was. Useless and good riddance.

Chris Marriott - Never saw him play.

Simon Spender - The promise he had as a youngster was never seen and was not good enough for Wrexham. Only reason he got a run in the team because Brian Little and Brian Carey don`t have a clue about playing football the proper way and thought he was the answer to someone with a bit of skill taking on players.

DRAGONS SIGN FRENCH DEFENDER06/02/2009French central defender Aurelien Collin, who played nineteen matches for Scottish League side Gretna last season, has signed for Blue Square Premier club Wrexham until the end of the season. Collin (pictured) joined Gretna from Spanish La Liga club Mallorca in August 2007, signing a two-year contract with the club, but he only made 19 appearances before he was released by the then-SPL club before the end of last season. Trials at Championship clubs Blackpool, Preston North End and Wolves failed to lead to a permanent deal being offered, and Collin signed a one-year contract at Greek Premier League side Panserraikos. "He's played at a higher level, he's aggressive and he's another centre half," said Wrexham manager Dean Saunders, who saw defenders Steve Evans and Shaun Pejic leave the club my mutual consent this week.

Christian Gyan

Christian Gyan (born 1978-11-02 in Tema) is a Ghanaian footballer who currently plays for Wrexham. Gyan signed for Feyenoord Rotterdam in 1996. During the following season the club send him on loan to Excelsior. After only a couple of months Feyenoord recalled the defender, and he made his debut for Feyenoord that same season. Gyan remained with Feyenoord for the next eight seasons. He was mainly used as a substitute. Gyan did play the 2002 UEFA Cup Final against Borussia Dortmund. He replaced the suspended Brett Emerton in the starting eleven. With Gyan Feyenoord went on to beat Dortmund 3-2. While at Feyenoord Gyan also won a Dutch League Championship and a Johan Cruijff Schaal.Gyan played 23 games for the national team of Ghana. In June 2008 Gyan completed a successful trial for the Finnish club Turun Palloseura, and he signed a 6-month deal with TPS on 3 June. Wrexham manager Dean Saunders yesterday strengthened his promotion-chasing squad by signing winger Jamie McCluskey and he is actively pursuing yet more targets to keep his players fresh for the final 10 weeks of the season.

Saunders said new boy McCluskey faced a battle for selection, but predicted he would quickly become a crowd-pleaser at the Racecourse.

"Jamie has joined us until the end of the season and if he does well we will give him a new deal next season.

"He has not played for a long time but the fans will love watching him. He is a very talented young player, but his first job is to force his way into the team. Once he has done that I’m sure he will become a crowd favourite."

McCluskey, at one time the youngest ever player to feature in the Scottish Premier League when at Hibernian, hopes his move to the Racecourse will finally launch a career blighted by injury. A twice-broken foot was at the root of the problem, but the 21-year old Scot is optimistic that the worst is behind him.

"I have only been here a week and a half and I’ve only trained with the other lads for three days," he said.

"This is a big opportunity for me to get back to playing regular football and I owe that to the manager and his staff who have all been great with me. I have been to Partizan Belgrade in Serbia and Catania in Italy, but I have not played for a year.

"Wrexham are obviously doing well, but I would not have signed for them unless I felt I had something to offer and I’ll be doing my best to break into the first team as quickly as possible."

17th February Andrew Crofts signs on as a Wrexham player Andrew Crofts

Wrexham FC sign Andrew Crofts

DEAN SAUNDERS has lured Wales star Andrew Crofts to the Racecourse – but the midfielder couldn’t prevent Wrexham slipping to a 2-1 defeat at Burton Albion last night.

Crofts, who has 12 international caps, made his debut in the Pirelli Stadium loss after completing a whirlwind loan switch from League Two side Gillingham hours before the game.

The signing provided Saunders some consolation after watching his side throw away a 1-0 advantage against the league leaders, with Jefferson Louis opening the scoring on 23 minutes.

And the manager believes Crofts has a glittering career ahead of him, having watched the midfielder at close quarters while on international duty with Wales.

In dispute with his club Gillingham, where his contract expires at the end of the season, the 24-year old has joined the Dragons until the end of the season in order to play regular first team football.

And the Racecourse boss is delighted to have secured the player’s services for Wrexham’s bid to bounce back into the Football League at the first attempt.

“He’s coming to help us in this final push for promotion,” said Saunders.

“I know his qualities from working with him at Wales and this boy could end up playing in the Premiership. He played against Holland last summer, where he made a good impression on the coaching staff.

“This is a major coup for us and shows the ambition of the chairman and myself in trying get Wrexham promoted out of this league.

“Andrew’s presence brings experience and strength to the squad and he will bring the best out of our younger players. He is a good, solid character and certainly no fancy-dan player because he rolls his sleeves up and gets stuck in.

“Andrew will definitely move onto better things. But it shows the boy’s character that he is will to come and help a Welsh club in the short term. He really is doing us a big favour.

“Both John Toshack and myself advised the player that a move to Wrexham would be a big help to both him and Welsh football.”

Crofts has also won under 19 and under 21 honours and was Gillingham’s player of the year last season. He made nearly 200 appearances for the Kent club, scoring 17 goals.

Obviously Mark hughes must rate him highly to bring him to Man City from Blackburn seeing as Man City already have two excellent goalkeepers. At 6 foot 3 he should be able to handle anything in the air which is what we desperately need. How many times have we lost to set pieces is un-real so hopefully this should put a stop to that. He made one appearance while at Elland road, Playing in the 3-1 defeat against Milton Keynes Dons.Mansour was released by Leeds in January 2009, and trained with Crewe Alexandra but failed to secure a contract. At last we have some real height in our defence which is what we desperately required. I have now lost count of the number of players we have signed permanently or got on loan in the last two years. Surely we must be talking over 50 players. Geoff Moss surely must be congratulated on the money he has spent since taking over at Wrexham or sent to the nearest mental institution and strapped to the chair for his own well being and mental health because let`s face it, who else would have ploughed the amount of money into Wrexham during the last year or so. We must have had more players than Pamela Anderson has had ,well you know what she has had.
